During this time, he had the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as Capicua, Sam the Kid, The Black Mamba, and Expensive Soul. Joana Meneses
Joana Meneses graduated from the Professional Tourism Course in 2013, interned at the Soares dos Reis Museum, and worked in hospitality and catering. She has been passionate about photography since her teenage years and, in 2016, at the age of 21, became a self-taught professional photographer. From her first experience, she immediately knew that photography was the future of her professional life. It was love at first photo!
She founded Tropeço de Riso Fotografia, a company through which she photographs portraits, weddings, family and baby sessions, images for shows, and campaigns for brands. Currently, she owns a private photography studio in the heart of Porto, where countless people, from children to adults, have had their moments captured, and where the magic happens.
She has two personas: Joana with a camera in hand and Joana during editing, who rebels against the number of photos taken (by herself).
She considers her relationship with clients one of the foundations of her work: she seeks to create a human bond of trust, which allows her to enter people's lives to capture intimate moments transformed into genuine and true photographs.
